Maternity on the Beach

Donte and Danae have been rocking with me for this past year and some change and so many amazing things have happened. From Danae, graduating from Law School and passing the bar, to having the perfect proposal; they are now welcoming a baby boy! I told Danae a while back that I’ve always wanted to photograph someone in the water and after she found out she was pregnant, we were on the same page for her maternity session!

I was so excited to plan for her. We chose one of the busiest days in Chicago to shoot lol, so there were people everywhere! I wanted her to feel comfortable, so we drove further down to find a beach that was way less crowded and it was perfect for them. She chose 2 outfits and she allowed me to make a dress for her. She was stunning and glowing! I was honored to capture such a beautiful milestone for them. After you read this, Baby Richie will have already been born.
