Why The Lazybird is Perfect for Engagement Photos!

When I was planning Morgan and Jeremy’s engagement session, I always like to ask if they have somewhere in mind before I give them suggestions. Morgan mentioned they were staying at The Hoxton in Chicago for the weekend and would love to shoot there! I was excited about it because I hadn’t photographed there. We reached out and management told us they don’t allow photography in the lobby BUT we were more than welcome to go down below to The Lazybird, an underground speakeasy right under the hotel!

The Lazybird is truly a hidden gem. It has a vintage feel, very colorful and warm! Morgan and Jeremy came down dressed to impress! We had an amazing time there. Afterwards, we ran outside to get a few shots. I mean it’s winter time! Why not? Plus, the beautiful couple will be saying “I do” on New Years’ Eve this year!
